I have known Carolyn for many years. In fact I taught both Claire & Jenna at primary school, so we go back a long way! When I was preparing to get married in October 1997 I knew Carolyn would be the perfect person to help me get ready on the morning of my wedding, both to help me dress and to do my make-up, and she was! We spent a lot of time talking about how I wanted my make-up to be done and it was perfect for me on my big day – mixing business with pleasure in the way only Carolyn can. She made sure everything ran like clockwork so I didn’t have anything to worry about. This meant I could enjoy this very special time with my mum and my friends.

I loved every moment of the service provided by Claire, and Carolyn for my wedding in March. I had my make-up trial about three weeks before the wedding and I was really happy with the results. Carolyn discussed with me my ideas and took into consideration the tone of my skin, the colour of my bouquet, and my dress. She talked me through things I hadn’t even considered which made a huge difference to how the makeup was chosen. The morning of my wedding was very relaxed and calm. Carolyn again provided me with an excellent service, kept me relaxed and completed the same look as the trial to perfection.

Claire was also very accommodating, fitting me in with a last minute hair trial the day before the wedding. I took some ideas with me, and the small flowers I wanted for my hair. She explained to me all the possibilities and what she professionally thought would work. We discussed the style; shape, veil and what would suit my dress. Finally coming up with something that was truly stunning and beautiful. On the day this was again replicated and looked even better than the trial with fantastic attention to detail.

Throughout the day my hair and makeup remained in tact right up until the photographs and that includes braving the rain. My experience with them both was absolutely brilliant and would recommend them without hesitation.
