General Order Terms 

These terms may be subject to amendments. Your order will be subject to the most recent Terms and Conditions at time of order. ‘We’ means Liney’s Brides LTD/Liney’s Brides Of Market Harborough LTD.

Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order 

  1. Goods ordered will be made for you and to your specifications so is a special order. It is important that you appreciate and understand that this order is a legally binding contract.
  2. A 50% non-refundableand non-transferable initial payment is required when placing your order, unless otherwise in writing by a Director of Liney’s Brides Ltd/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough Ltd.
  3. All goods ordered are done so specifically to each customer’s specifications given to us at the time of purchase, therefore goods cannot be cancelled or exchanged, and the balance will be required within 14 days of delivery. Please note, your goods are made-to-order and not made-to-measure.

Sizing and Colours 

  1. All goods are ordered in the best standard size based on the measurements shown and agreed overleaf.
  2. The customer must make sure the correct size and length are ordered, we will recommend a style and length against the measurements we have for you. Changes to shoes and undergarments may affect the size and length required and we cannot be held responsible for changes you make.
  3. Liney’s Brides Limited/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough Ltd cannot be held responsible if the customers size or body shape changes between the time of order and the time of arrival and/or collection due to weight loss/gain or pregnancy.
  4. If the customer wishes to order a different size for any reason to the size recommended by Liney’s Brides Limited/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough Ltd using the customer’s current measurements we cannot be held responsible if the item fails to fit or needs major alterations, this needs to be confirmed with a customer signature.
  5. The hems of gowns with pick upsand/or frills, ruffles, pleating lace or layers may have slight dips and rises due to the nature of the design.
  6. Colour swatches (or samples viewed) are only an indication of colour, not an exact match and there may be occasional differences in dye lots. Also note some garments may have irregular slubswithin materials due to the nature of the manufacture and shall be dealt with on a case by case basis.
  7. Please note that many garments are handmade and actual garments ordered may have small differences to samples viewed.

Delivery and Collection 

  1. Delivery dates are for guidance only and will be confirmed once the supplier has confirmed the order around 8 months before the wedding date stated overleaf.
  2. Occasionally, the manufacture of your goods may be delayed through circumstances beyond our control. To prevent these rare situations Liney’sBrides Limited/Liney’sBrides of Market Harborough Ltd confirm all orders prior to the minimum order date so your garments will have an expected delivery period taking these rare situations into considerations.
  3. If you change the wear date, we cannot automatically change the delivery date and express charges may become payable, it may even become impossible to deliver the goods in time.

Payments and Cancellations 

  1. The remaining balance of the gown must be paid within 14 days of notification that your goods have arrived in store.
  2. Your account needs to be fully paid with cleared funds prior to fittings, alterations or the release of any goods. Any garments are still the property of Liney’s Bride LTD/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough LTD until full payment has been made.
  3. Outstanding balances on items that have been in store for over 14 days will be subject to interest. Failure to collect your goods by the date requested may also result in a storage fee.
  4. Failure to pay for in full and collect your goods within 30 days and after suitable notification and reasonable attempts by Liney’sBrides Limited/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough Ltd to contact the customer, will result in the loss of your payments and the re-sale of any items.
  5. We regret that refunds and exchanges cannot be considered if change of mind or cancellation of wedding. Cancellations due to an implied term being breached will be dealt with in line with your consumer rights.
  6. We regret that cancellation of your wedding and change of mind cannot be accepted as reasons to cancel the purchase of the goods overleaf. In the event of this happening, all goods must be paid and collected by the agreed date.
  7. All goods remain the property of Liney’s Brides Limited/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough Ltd until paid for in full. No title to, or interest in the goods shall be passed to the customer until all monies due and owing have been discharged.
  8. Acceptance of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the customer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and that all goods are fit for purpose, no refund option available.

Alterations 

  1. Please be aware that most garments will require alterations as standard.  Ownership of the goods will be transferred to the consumer within 14 days of the goods arriving to Liney’sBrides.
  2. Alteration costs are not included in the price of the gown, please request an alterations price guide from an independent company or our recommended independent company The Stitchery Service.
  3. Liney’sBrides LTD/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough LTD cannot accept any responsibility of your goods once your first fitting has been completed and alterations have been carried out by an independent seamstress.

Stock or Sale goods 

  1. A 50% non-refundableinitial payment is required to secure any goods from stock or sale.
  2. For all stock and sale goods full payment and collection is required within 30 days of purchase, failure to do so may result in interest and/or a storage fee being be charged.
  3. Failure to pay for in full and collect your goods within 30 days and after suitable notification and reasonable attempts by Liney’sBrides Limited/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough Ltd to contact the customer, will result in the loss of your payments and the re-sale of any items.
  4. Stock and sale goods are sold subject to the condition at the time of purchase. Any known faults will be bought to the attention of the customer before sale, please make sure you are completely happy with the goods as no refunds will be made as a result of these faults.
  5. Costs of laundering and altering stock and sale goods whenever necessary are at the purchaser’s responsibility.

Storage and Faults  

  1. Many items use fine fabrics, embroidery, beading and/or sequins which can easily be damaged, so care must be taken during wear at fittings/events and during storage.
  2. Please store goods in a pet and smoke free area. Goods can also be added to your wedding or home insurance. We highly recommend you seek cover for your goods within 30 days of purchase.
  3. In the case of a manufacturing fault, Liney’s Brides Limited/Liney’s Brides of Market Harborough Ltd will either mend or replace the item at their discretion. If an item is to be replaced the customer must be aware of standard delivery times for a replacement.
  4. A refund will only be given where goods cannot possibly be repaired, and a replacement is no longer available.

Privacy 

  1. We are committed to protecting your privacy. All information will be treated as confidential. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully.
  2. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. By leaving your details overleaf you are agreeing for us to contact you regarding your order via email, post or/and telephone.
  3. Sometimes we like to tell you about our new Offers and Events in store.
  4. Sometimes we like to share your details with close partnership companies we think you may be interested in. Please tick the boxes overleaf should you wish for us NOT to contact you via email, phone and/or telephone.
    38. Your personal details will be archived from our system within 1 month of the customers wear date, paper trail is stored for 6 years for accountancy regulations.
